Keeping with our plant theme the children have been exploring painting leaves. We have been using thick paint and mixing shades of green by dipping the brush in different colours. We used different tools to scratch leaf patterns in the thick paint. We thought carefully about the different shapes, colours and patterns on different leaves and looked closely at some images to inspire us.
