We know we will have to wait a long time until our sunflowers grow and so we decided to create our own. We were inspired by Van Gough to try using thick paint and adding texture by scratching in patterns. We also tried other techniques, we used water colour, wax crayon and pastels. We talked about which technique we liked best.
Mrs Bartlett showed us how to use sketch book on the iPad. You can use lots of different brushed and techniques on this. We explored the tools in different ways and the created our own flower pictures.
