Year 5 have taken part in a science investigation this week and we had  some interesting results our science topic at the moment is forces.  The investigation allowed the children focus on water resistance. 

I can’t wait to read the stories which will be created with the storyboards!

Year 5 had the most amazing first animation lesson.  Everyone really enjoyed the lesson and we can't wait to make our sprites move around more next week! keep checking on Fridays to see the progress we are making!  

All the children at school and many at home created the most wonderful rainforest boxes.  The children used a range of materials from clay to paper to achieve their finished design.  This took a long time with lots of preparation of research, planning, designing and much more.  Well done to…

we are so pleased with our make do and mend project during lockdown! The bags have turned out better than we could of imagined.  We used scraps of material we found around the school and have given them a new life! As you can see from the pictures the children are very happy with the results!…

I am so impressed with the amount of effort the children are putting in at home, they are showing a great deal of independence and positive attitude to learning.

A lovely example of the dig for victory poster! 

We have been researching the movement of the Sun, Moon and Earth as well as investigating how people first realised the earth was in fact round!  The children have found this topic fascinating!  ☀️

Year Two had a very creative afternoon making flames and silhouette houses for our topic.  The finished art work has been used on the display and looks very effective! Well done Y2.
