This week we have been finding our different ways to make our teen numbers. We have been investigating how the number that we write link to the amount and have begun to find out about tens and units. We will be doing lots more work finding our about how bigger numbers are made up of groups of ten and ones (units) next week. Why not practise counting up and down in 10's at home. TOP TIP: Make sure they are saying thirty not thirteen - we call them our 'cup of tea' numbers. If your child is doing this really well why not try asking them to start form a different number e.g. 5, 15, 25, 35, 45 ...
