Today we had a fantastic time at Strikes Garden Centre. The outdoor Garden Centre Manager Paul was kind enough to show us around and share his in depth knowledge of plants. We learned lots about the different parts of a plant and why plants look and smell different from each other. A huge thank you to Strikes for their support with this visit (...and all those parents and grandparents who came along to help too!). It has really inspired the children to develop their interest in plants. It also was an opportunity to buy some seeds for us to get busy growing back in school.
