Today we used the plastic shapes to help us develop our ideas about how to build a house. We thought about which shapes worked best and learnt lots about 3D shapes. We made cubes,cuboid, pyramids and triangular prisms. Some of us got creative and tried other shapes too. Working out which shapes we needed to make sure we hadn’t left any holes was tricky. We realised that choosing the right shape and size was important if our house was going to fit together well.
