2 March 2020

Today we really had to use all of our maths skills to work out how much money we had raised on Friday.  We needed to sort the coins, and work out how many we needed of each coin to make £1.  We used our ten frames to help us group the money in 10’s to make it easier to count.  We were really pleased when we worked out that we had raised and amazing £126.80p! We are going to use the money to support the WWF for nature who help protect coral reefs and we hope to adopt a turtle.

A huge thank you to all of the children who brought in money to play our games and buy our biscuits.  Thank you also to the year 4/5 class who helped us with this project.
